Se pou piyay

Cuando una ramita se rompe y se cae por el lago
Las palomas apenas hacen caso
Pero cuando un roble se cae al bosque
Todas las aves se preguntan ¿Donde vamos a descansar?
En nuestro jardín
Usted fue un roble
Donde descansamos
Cuando fuimos cansados
Sin pedir algo a cambio
Nos dio sombra del sol

When a twig breaks and falls by the lake
The doves hardly take notice
But when an oak tree falls in the forest
All the birds ask themselves: “Where will we rest?”
In our garden
You were an oak tree
Where we rested
When we were tired
Without asking for anything in return
You shaded us from the sun
